The first one simply became too big... I have to find a friend with a big head... or fold it up. It works, but...
It's not nearly as cute as the green one! (Though I do look like an egghead in this type of toque... Cute egghead though.) And it totally matches the Flower Basket Shawl that Mandy made me!

Your hats look great!
I always seem to have a problem with my hats turning out too big. I start out with the right gauge but then I seem to knit more loosely as I go along. Luckily I know lots of women with big hair :-).
Finally, I know what to do with the alpaca I have that's been begging to be a hat! Thanks for the inspiration.
